Key Responsibilities: ✅ Patient Care Assist the doctor in examining and treating patients. Perform basic nursing procedures (e.g., wound dressing, injections, BP/temperature monitoring). Administer prescribed medications and vaccinations. Provide first aid and emergency care when required. ✅ Health Education & Counselling Educate patients about hygiene, nutrition, maternal & child health, family planning, and disease prevention. Counsel patients on medication adherence and follow-up care. ✅ Camp Operations & Support Maintain cleanliness and readiness of nursing equipment and supplies in the MMU. Support patient registration, triage, and queue management. Assist in conducting health awareness activities and screenings (e.g., BP, sugar check, BMI). ✅ Documentation & Reporting Record patient details, treatment given, and procedures performed. Maintain stock registers of medicines and consumables. Assist in preparing daily/weekly reports and submitting data to the supervisor. ✅ Coordination Coordinate with the MMU team (doctor, pharmacist, driver, community mobilizer). Job Role & Responsibilities: Drive the MMU vehicle safely to designated locations according to the planned medical camp schedule. Ensure timely arrival and departure as per the route plan and maintain punctuality. Conduct daily vehicle inspection and routine maintenance checks (oil, fuel, tires, brakes, etc.) to keep the vehicle in good condition. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the MMU at all times. Assist the MMU team (doctors, nurses, pharmacist, community mobilizer) in loading/unloading medical supplies and equipment. Ensure proper parking and positioning of the MMU at camp sites for safe patient access. Maintain logbooks for distance traveled, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance. Report any vehicle malfunctions or required repairs promptly to the supervisor. Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations strictly. Assist in basic non-medical tasks during camps if required (e.g., setting up banners, helping manage crowd flow). Identify target areas and priority groups for medical outreach (marginalized, vulnerable, or remote populations). Build rapport with local leaders, influencers, ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, and panchayat members to support MMU activities. Awareness Generation: Conduct health awareness sessions in the community about preventive health, hygiene, immunization, maternal & child health, and disease control. Distribute IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) material. Facilitate group meetings, community gatherings, and health camps publicity. Beneficiary Management: Assist beneficiaries during registration and service delivery at the MMU Van. Collect community feedback on MMU services for quality improvement. Field Coordination: Coordinate with local health departments and community organizations for smooth implementation of the MMU schedule. Support the MMU team in site identification and crowd management at camp sites. Reporting: Maintain daily records of mobilization activities and community feedback.
